Nothing Inappropriate (Day 4 Early Evening)

[Yoko]

Yoko let out the breath, "Ho-" she shook her head. Looking to Shouji, "That was a bigger ask than I had a right to. You- thank you, Tsuruchi-sama," she regarded Shouji for a moment. A memory of a voice rang in her head and she smirked. Fully facing Shouji she righted her position, squared her shoulders, "Whatever I can do, I will repay you somehow, Tsuruchi-sama. Thank you," she bowed deeply and held it.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"If today repeats again on the morrow there is little risk at all, Ikeda-san." Shouji replied, turning to face Ishi. "Though I do admit it was more then I wanted to risk and I might not of in other circumstances. So don't think too well of me."

He turned his eyes to Yoko. "You'll need to look into this if you can, ask friends to help if you have any. It is likely wise we have a way to refute whatever evidence is brought forward. In case it's needed. I'll not be a liar even if the day returns to this morning."

"I would also like to know how things came to this."

[Ikeda Ishi]

"I failed, that is what brought about this misery," she said calmly.

[Yoko]

Yoko rose from the bow and was about to answer Shouji but looked then to Ishi and held still a moment, frowning she shook her head, "You've gotta stop with that, Ikeda-sama. Just- the worlds more complicated, you can see that now, eh? You've failed no one, failed in nothing."

[Ikeda Ishi]

"It's easy for you as a ronin, you have no master. My Lord gave me a task and I failed, and then I failed a second time. Today was simply the third failure in a string of failures. I serve, and I have failed, that is the truth of things," she responded.

[Yoko]

"You were being used, used by someone who wanted to make you do something-" she held up her hand, shook her head. Inhaling slowly, exhaling slowly, "Reprehensible," it wasn't quite Yoko's word, but that of the woman who raised her. "A samurai's duty is more.. it's bigger than that. I may not have a lord, but I help people- I try at least. There's merit in that. What merit could there be in serving someone who would kill you just because you discovered the truth? That's-" she shook her head, "there's no honor in the one you say you failed. Far as I'm concerned, doesn't make his word, or command, all that important."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

There was certainly a story there, and Shouji needed to hear it in full before he could make any sort of decision on how to proceed. Glancing to Yoko his eyes then moved towards Ishi. "I know you have no wish to relive your failures, Ikeda-san. I need to know details before we proceed though."

"Perhaps there is some way I can help you that neither of you have considered yet?" He asked as much as stated. "Unless you intend to give up, though I don't think you are that weak illed of a woman, Ikeda-san."

[Ikeda Ishi]

"It is not my story to tell without the other, as it involves her the most," Ishi offered.

[Yoko]

Yoko crossed her arms, huffed, "This morning she left with Ikoma Ren to speak with the authorities about.. well, all of this. Suppose that's the next stop them tracking them down before-" she waved one of her hand. "Maybe all of this resets."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Well, that's just dammed confusing." Shouji offered with a sigh. "I can't really do much of anything with just a bunch of he's and her's."

"I can at least infer the identity of one of them of course. But I would of rather heard the details from your lips." He shook his head. "Best hurry and get permission Yoko, by yourself though. Best Ikeda-san stays on the Sea Fox for the time being."

"I'd help myself, but i have my own things to do. I figure whatever happens has something to do with the ghosts of Hida Gusari, and I assume Daidoji Bugeihime wanders around. And I've got no intention to be stuck in this time loop forever if that was actually their fate too."

[Ikeda Ishi]

"That is amenable to me," she said with a nod.

[Yoko]

"I've seen her- I think," she shook her head, "but we can talk more about that later, yea?" Looking off toward where she'd have to go. "No time like the present but, before I go- Ikeda-sama, do you think you'll- if we repeat again, wind up back where we were.. will you- would you mind if I came to collect you from the castle, walked with you back to the Sea Fox?" she looked to Shouji, "If that's alright, Tsuruchi-sama."

[Ikeda Ishi]

""I could just make my way to the Fox first thing, if that is allowed by the Captain," she added.

"No need to avoid your duties."

[Yoko]

"Alright- well.. guess that means I move on to the next thing I can do," she says, looking between them both. "just gotta keep moving forward, eh? Stay safe?"

"I'll meet you back at the boat in a few hours, if I don't find them sooner I got a good idea where they might go. I'll bring you both there."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"If that is Ikeda-san's wish. Feel free." He offered with a nod followed by a encouraging smile to the young woman.

"Though I hope to learn all there is about this by tomorrow." He added glancing between the pair.

[Yoko]

"Tonight," she said, looking to them both once more and without any need to stop her she'd head off.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

Yoko received a dip of his head as she headed away. Though his eyes shifted to the Imperial. "I should likely see you back to the ship, Ikeda-san. Though it you don't mind i may seek out the abbess here to ask a few questions first."

[Ikeda Ishi]

Ishi nodded, she had no intentions to disagree.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

It was hard to figure out what to say to the young woman as he looked for the Abbess but he decided to try. "You might try some tea with ginger when you get to the ship." He offered after a moment.

"The ship doesn't move as much when it's docked, but it still does and the ginger might help settle your stomach. And drinking it with tea is better then chewing it raw."

[Aji]

The nun was tending to a garden when they found her.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Excuse me, honored Abbess." Shouji offered as he spotted the nun. Offering the woman a polite bow as he did so.

[Aji]

She rose from picking rooted vegetable and said, "Hello, how can this humble nun help you?"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"I am sorry to take you from your work Abbess, but I was wondering of you knew anything of any local legends. Specifically those concerning Hida Gusari and Daidoji Bujeihime?" He asked after a moment.

[Aji]

"I do in fact, looking into the ghost stories of the beaches?" she asked.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Yes." He admitted after a moment. "I have had some rather odd occurrences of late, and I'm hoping to get a better understanding of what I might of seen."
