Checking In [Day 4, LM]

[Yoko]

Whereas the other day she found herself looking for safety, today she found herself looking for something else entirely. Walking into the inn she glanced around, looking either for the first person she could find or just seeing if she might find who she was looking for directly.

[Dapper Dog]

The folks at the inn were having breakfast, Jun was there to serve people.

[Yoko]

Finding herself with a slight sense of urgency, she walked up to the woman. "Hey-" she paused, awkwardly. Having realized she doesn't quite know what to say, cause what she wants to say would most definitely sound crazy she looks to her for a moment with a dumbfounded look.

"I- uh, can I bother you for a moment? If you're not too busy?" she glanced off toward the side.

[Dapper Dog]

"Of course not samurai-sama, how can I help you?" she asked.

[Yoko]

After a pause, "I- met a ronin the other night, at the festival. She said something that.. well, it kind of clicked with me about going south and serving a good purpose, eh?" she waves her hand, dismissing the thought. "Not the point, anyway, she said something that's had me thinking ever since."

"Her name was Sutorenja, I believe she sleeps here at this inn. Might you be able to tell me if she's still in her room, which one that might be? I'd really like the chance to catch her again before she might.. leave, you know, as we ronin do," she says.

Great that last part didn't sound suspicious at all.

[Ikoma Ren]

Ren comes out of his room, topknot messy as he begins looking around, with an expression of increasing concern on his features. He stops as he sees Yoko.

"Tomo-san? Do you...remember how many days ago it was when we met in the bath with Otomo-sama?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Hai, she is..." and then looks at the Lion.

[Yoko]

Relief on her face as Jun speaks, and then she looks over her shoulder to Rent, "Ikoma-sama.. it was two days ago, wasn't it? Don't think we drank that much, eh?" she said, chuckling as she shook her head a little.

"If I remember right, you know Sutorenja-san, eh? She," she glanced back to Jun, "she with you?"

[Ikoma Ren]

"She should be around here. The plan was to sleep in after the meeting last night. The problem is... they're talking about that same meeting coming. Please tell me you remember it too. "

[Yoko]

"Guess they just liked it so much they were hoping to do it again, eh?" she said, looking back to Ren. Looking at him for a moment and then shaking her head, laughing.

"Can we go see if Sutorenja-san is around, it's important."

[Ikoma Ren]

"You mean" Ren looks around. "When the Ikeda returns. Well, not really returns, she's coming for the first time, if you get my meaning. " Ren let's that hang." Yes, let's find her"

[Sutorenja]

The ronin in question walked in carrying some wood and sweat on her brow. She smiled at the samurai and said, “Good morning, have you had your rice this morning?”

[Yoko]

"Good morning!" With her voice a. It more exhuberant than nornal she turns about hearing the woman approach, her voice.

"I was hoping I would find you again. Was hoping we could talk about that thing we talked about last, eh? Do you mind if I took some of your time, and maybe Ikoma-sama's too?" she said, glancing over her shoulder at the man in question.

[Ikoma Ren]

"So, Sutorenja-san, are you ready to be a quail with me?" He looks over at Yoko. "You know what I'm about Tomo-san. "

[Sutorenja]

She looked at the Lion confused and said, "If that is what you wish of me, Ikoma-sama."

"Let me set the wood down and we can chat."

[Yoko]

"Excellent," she says, smiling as she claps her hands together.

While Sutorenja saw to the wood Yoko looked over to Ren. "Ikoma-sama, you're acting a little strangely if it's okay for me to say so," she offers a look, quirking her brow. "Are you alright?"

[Ikoma Ren]

He looks over to Yoko. "Ok, this is bad. She didn't laugh." Ren pauses. "Yes, I sound like a madman, but please bear with me.

He turns back to Sutorenja. "Sutorenja-san, are you ready for the gathering tonight? "

[Sutorenja]

"Hai, I am," she said with a nod.

"Are you getting nervous about it? You will do fine."

[Yoko]

"I can make this go way faster but.." she said to Ren, looking to Sutorenja. "I'm sure you will do fine too, eh?" she smirked, giving Ren a nod.

"I wanted to talk to you about.. what you said, yesterday, Sutorenja-san. When I was speaking of my mom, eh? Wanted to.. do right by the woman she is and what she expects of me. But," she glanced around. "I don't wish to send off Ikoma-sama, but perhaps we might grab a space with a little more privacy? You, me, Ikoma-sama?"

[Ikoma Ren]

" But," she glanced around. "I don't wish to send off Ikoma-sama, but perhaps we might grab a space with a little more privacy? You, me, Ikoma-sama?"

"Dreams do come true." Ren remarks drily, unable to resist a smirk.

"But yes, our room should be sufficient. I have a feeling where this is going next. "

[Sutorenja]

The ronin nodded through her confusion.

[Yoko]

"Please allow me, when we get there, eh?" she says, looking to Rent and giving him a nod. After that, Yoko waited to say more until they all got to the room.

[Ikoma Ren]

Ren crams into the room that had been "cozy" with the pair of them, now cramped as a trio

[Yoko]

Now in the private space, Yoko did what she could to minimize what she took by leaning up against one of the walls.

"Sutorenja-san, I'm- there's something very important I need to tell you, for your safety, but I need you to keep an open mind, okay?"

[Sutorenja]

"Now I am concerned," she said giving Yoko her full attention.
