[Day 3 - LE] Notice me, Senpai (Event)

[Yoko]

Yoko took her time, looked around at everyone here and reached down toward her hip. Pulling up a fine sake bottle, the one she would have gotten from the Otomo, tied to her side and showed it off to those gathered.

"After an evening like today.. we should all sit down and have a drink, eh? Sounds like everyone needs it a little. I'm also going to have to insist, please?" She glanced around for each person's bit of recognition.

[Ikeda Ishi]

Ishi kowtowed at Sutorenja’s feet and said, “My lady, my life is yours. I am sworn to defend the house of Oturi and I have failed.”

The "Ji" voice growls out of the magistrate in a surprising sense of Ire.

"Did you forget everything I said? Your life isn't yours to give. Not while this forger is still running rampant."

A light cough, and the anger dissipated from him.

"My treat, if we want to make an evening of it - but I need something in return. Supposedly there's a ronin gathering tonight - I need to know where."

[Sutorenja]

Sutorenja said, “He speaks true, and you have done nothing wrong but what was asked of you.”

When the ronin spoke the Imperial rose and nodded.

[Yoko]

"So- that a no on the sitting for a drink idea from everyone else? I'm offering. Otherwise I'd very much appreciate getting a chance to make any kind of sense of what's going on, eh?" she glanced around, holding the bottle up still as she glanced around.

"Can all start making sense of this to each other? I mean- I know there isn't much reason to tell me but maybe I can help somehow, eh?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Hai a drink seems good for all, if you approve?" the ronin said to Sutorenja.

"We can sit in here out of the hallway," he gestured to his room.

Sutorenja nodded and entered with Ikeda following.

[Kakita Konohamaru]

"Can all start making sense of this to each other? I mean- I know there isn't much reason to tell me but maybe I can help somehow, eh?"

"This I agree with. I don't even know any of your names. I'll start - Kakita Konohamaru."

"We can sit in here out of the hallway," he gestured to his room.

Konohamaru made to follow.

[Yoko]

Looking up to the Magistrate before she followed, "We can talk after if it doesn't come up during the meeting, eh?" she says, before following in and digging into her things she had with her, getting at least her own sake cup out before even properly getting into the room.

[Dapper Dog]

The ronin looked to Sutorenja and then to the magistrate and said, “Ikeda Hiro, first Sword of the Imperial Guard. It seems my arrival here was fortuitous and intended.”

[Sutorenja]

“I would ask what you are even doing here, but you can tell me later,” Sutorenja responded.

“I am sorry for the confusion,” she held her hand out for the bottle.

[Yoko]

Yoko freely gave it over, after quickly and awkwardly untying it from herself, laughing awkwardly in the action.

"Yoko," she added into the mix, as she did so.

[Sutorenja]

She accepted the bottle and took a drink before saying, “This one apologizes for the deception, but it seems my warrior’s journey is at an end. This one is Oturi Yuahime.”

She held the bottle out for the next person.

[Kakita Konohamaru]

The Imperial would be next to drink, but the information he had just been fed made Konohamaru visibly falter.

He had just saved the life of the Imperial lineage by sheer accident because of some sloppy paperwork because he was angry at being given a short tone by another Imperial.

And somehow, the first sword was here.

Kakita's kabuki mask, what had he gotten into.

[Yoko]

"Not so sure it's fair to call it a deception if you were actually on a warrior's journey, if I can add, Oturi-sama," Yoko added, looking to the woman much like she had been for less than the last day. "If-" she quickly jabbed in, "you don't mind my saying, eh?"

[Ikeda Ishi]

Ikeda Ishi nodded at the name and then took a position to watch the door.

[Kakita Konohamaru]

"That would explain Ikeda-sama's presence here."

So many questions, so little authority upon which to ask them.

[Sutorenja]

“True, it was not a true deception but it did put some of you in harm’s way. I am saddened that my presence has made your lives more complicated. That was never my intent, but it seems someone wants me dead,” she said grimly.

[Yoko]

"Not sure how I can, but you got my help if you want it Oturi-sama. All I've got are my hands, my blade, and the will to use 'em, eh? Don't think I'd end up worrying mom too much. Any idea who's looking to see you stay gone?" she asked, reaching out and taking the bottle next since no one else had. Taking a drink she offered it over toward the other man who identified himself as the first blade.

[Kakita Konohamaru]

Konohamaru nods in agreement at the ronin's offer, but lets them converse unabated.

He was still busy comprehending the fortunes and how they aligned over things.

[Dapper Dog]

He accepted and took a deep drink before adding, "I will find whoever is behind this and make them pay, Oturi-sama."

While he still didn't touch the drink, he gestured to the door.

"This one is in no position to make demands, but if Ikeda-san joins she can repay her debt."

Things were.. starting to settle with the Kakita.

"My assistance is also available."

[Ikeda Ishi]

Ikeda Ishi said quietly, "This writ was given to me by Otomo Yusuke."

[Yoko]

Yoko seemed to pause in the moment of it all, held still and then looked up to Ishi. "Well- that makes the origin of this bottle just a little more unfortunate.." she said, taking it into hand and then shifting from her seat. Walking over to Ishi she looked to the woman for a moment, "I- I don't know what you've gotta be thinking right now. Just know your whole world turned upside down, eh? So.. drinks not a good long term solution but it might be a nice short term one?" she said, offering the bottle over with a soft smile.

"I don't understand why Otomo-sama would want this to happen, he is a loyal servant of the Throne," she said with confusion.
