[D2 - MA] The Witch!

[Amika]

Amika, as promised, submitted herself voluntarily to the investigations about some threat against Hida Yoji-sama. She goes to the Castle, assuming they let her pass or was escorted. She gave up her daisho to the polishers or to the guards if they commanded her to do so.

The only thing that she was carrying, besides her clothes, was her fan, on her obi.

[Hida Fuboshi]

Fuboshi entered in a dark kimono, followed by her staff. She took a seat of honor and said, "Tell me why I should not have you beheaded in the next five minutes."

[Amika]

Amika bowed to the governor, extremly low, and then she kneeled and bowed again in that pose, totally showing her submission to the higher status governor. '' Hida Fuboshi-dono, this one is honored to meet you. I'm grateful that you have allowed this one to explain her actions and this one will try to explain it shortly so that you don't have to waste your time with a person like me...'' She said.

'' It would seem that, at least from what this one understands, that someone has been threatening Hida Yoji-sama. Apparently some of your subjects think that this one is culprit of such threats, yet this one has no idea why that would be. This one has submitted to each test that the Kuni family and the guards at the border of your estemeed clan.'' She said still kneeling.

'' This one is not sure, but, another member of your clan, Kuni Takeshi-sama, also seemed suspicious about me and made me touch a jade pendant that he was carrying, although this one is not sure why or what was the purpose of it.'' She adds.

'' Investigator-sama that brought me here, seems to think that this one's words somehow inflicted ill on Hida Yoji-sama, which if true then i do apologize but i don't know why my words of encouragement of his bonding with Daidoji Yushoko-sama would had caused harm to him.'' She told the truth. '' If so then i will accept the punishment you think is proper for such trespass''

Amika was telling the truth, though she was nervous a bit. The Governor seems intimidating, so her words could had been less effective that they would normaly be. She was offering no resistance though, and was completely in a submissive attitude.

[Hida Fuboshi]

"Test her blood, if it's black she dies, otherwise get this wretch out of my sight," she hissed sitting back.

A different Kuni priest approached this time.

[Amika]

It seems that looking the color of blood was a test. This time Amika, in front of the governor herself, accepted the test. She was not happy with it, but she offered the palm of her hand to the person that would test her.

When the blade cut Amika's hand the blood was.....red. Nothing weird on her blood. The ronin had a sense of relief as she thought that maybe she indeed was cursed or was cursing people.

[Dapper Dog]

The Kuni wrapped her hand with cloth and said, "Clean, Hida-dono and no sign that this isn't her skin."

OOC: Suffer 1 wound from the cut.

[Hida Fuboshi]

Fuboshi narrowed her eyes and then rose, “Continue the search. Ronin, speak nothing of this meeting. Best you forget you were ever in this courtyard. Do not attempt to leave the region before the wedding. My words are clear enough?”

She was about to leave and then added, “Do you have any information on what has assaulted my son and family, speak now.”

[Amika]

'' This one will do as you say, Hida Fuboshi-dono. I will not leave this province until the wedding and if further investigations are required from me i will gladly submit to them.'' She bowed again, her forehead touching the floor. '' I will not discuss what happened here. You have my word and honor, Hida Fuboshi-dono.''

As the governor then returned to ask her another question Amika rose her head. '' This one has not heard anything about any attack or threat, Hida Fuboshi-dono. But if i heard or caught some rumour on the streets about such topic i will come and deliver the information to the magistrates in order to help.'' She adds and bows again.

[Hida Fuboshi]

"See that you do, dismissed," she departed.

[Amika]

Amika bowed, again. Rose from her kneeling position, bowed again as she was standing. Took three steps back, turn around and left the courtyard.

The ronin goes to the guards that were guarding her daisho, and asked for them to return it. Always politely.

Attack, threats? She thought. This was the first time she heard about that since she was not particularly interested in rumours, nor she was updated in what was happening around her. But this whole thing made her wonder about what was going on...
