[D7 EN] Beneditions

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

Again at the beach at night, Toritaka Hanatsuko offered her prayers. Next to her was Sari and Kuma. They were growing accustomed to the idea of visiting the beach. She offered the spirits her music to grant some sort of blessing this time around. Even if her training is not one to grant such things, she tried.

[Otomo Saisei]

"Atchooooooo!"

The Otomo sneezes, as he noticed a light at the beach from afar and came to see what it was.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

The Otomo sneeze was not really heard as the waves and the sound of her own voice kept her focused. Her final step was her music as she took her flute played

[Otomo Saisei]

Gratefully, the music shields his lack of tune while approaches. He does not bother her, or her companions, as she plays.

Saisei waits until she notices him, and if not, the music itself was enough for him to stay quite and perhaps find another moments.

The young man sits on the sand.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

As she finished her playing she noted the shift in the sand. She looked at the Otomo sitting beside her. "Oh... Otomo sama..." she gave a bow and took a seat beside him. "What brings you to the beach this night?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He provides her a seated bow in response, replying, “I’ve noticed lights when preparing to sleep, and thought it odd. So I came down. I am happy it it is Toritaka-san.”

The young man opens a smile, adding, “I am also happy and slight surprised by her skills in...”

“Atchooooooo!”

A breath, and he completes, “...the flute.”

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

The woman smiled. "It is a hobby of mine and a way to a peace spirits." She nodded. "I believe that my music can guide them to where they are supposed to be."

[Otomo Saisei]

He takes a dee breath, to suggest, “Then by all means continue. Respect to our ancestors comes first. It is rather conforming thought, knowing that someone might pray to us from another realm.”

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Oh! Do.you sing Otomo sama?" She wondered. Maybe I should apologize for my behavior yesterday.
Not really you meant well. And he still lives.

[Otomo Saisei]

He shakes his head. "I... do not. Yet, I appreciate songs very much."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Do you practice any art?" She wondered. "I hope I am not being too inquisitive."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Does kenjutsu count?" He asks with a wince and a scratch on his head. Then, he raises a finger up, "Oh. Oh! Calligraphy. Does it count?"

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"If you can master a duel with it." She said jokingly. "I do practice iai and I think calligraphy counts as an artistic means to the the word."

[Otomo Saisei]

"I am but an enthusiast in iai. I haven't really practice it at large, knowing only the basics of what kenjutsu provides. It is said that knowing how to use the pen is kin to the art of the blade."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

She chuckled. "If you want to practice the art of the blade this one can be of service on the basics." She smiled. "Perhaps a trade of skills, I seem to have a very particular set that may be of interest."

[Otomo Saisei]

"It would be an honor. Which skill I possess Toitaka-san is interestchooooooo!"

He bows apologetically, again.

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Well if I am to send letters to you or the fellow Cranes it should be quite understandable not just scribbles of kanji." She shook her head.

[Otomo Saisei]

"I can indeed give Toritaka-san some pointers, yes." He mentions and rubs his chin, "Perhaps tomorrow with more light. Would she be interested?"

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"That would be lovely Otomo sama." She gave a bowed. "I feel like I should apologize for my behavior yesterday."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Apologize?" He tilts his head, "On the contrary, I am the one to thank you for taking care of me, more than once. Please, do call me by my chosen name."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"I am glad then that my services were not intrusive, O...Saisei sama." She smiled. "I should get you that tea. How are you fairing?"

[Otomo Saisei]

"Atchooooooo!" He replies, instinctively. Then he looks to her companions and laughs a bit. "I find them very beautiful, by the way. From afar."

He laughs a bit more. "Those herbs did disappear the other day."

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"Sakkaku!" Hanatsuko shook her fist at the sea. The woman chuckled at her silly move. "Maybe you should ask Kuni sama the tea to help balance your elements around the animals."

[Otomo Saisei]

"I should, indeed. Now that at least she knows me a bit more." He grins and asks, "So. Would later in the afternoon tomorrow be a good time. Before the wedding proper?"

[Toritaka Hanatsuko]

"That may seem proper." She nodded. "I do have an interesting activity with Kuma and Kakita Yuuwaku sama." She looked at the bird and giggled.
He started to preen proper.
I need to look dapper for Kakita sama. She is my size. Such a lovely bun. The bird ended with a high pitch cry.

"He is quite excited for his debut."
