[Otomo Saisei]

Even though surprised, the Otomo doesn't flinch as the pops the fan open and begins dancing gracefully. His neck does turn around as she moves and his eyes are focused on every detail her figure shows, and some that it tries to hide.

A previous open grins turns into a somewhat devious smile as thoughts run through his head trying to find its way into honorable action.

"Kakita-sama's true strike indeed to die for."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Dance with me, then, and if you die, it will only be a little; you will live again!"

Yuuwaku smiles broadly, cheer in her voice, and it is clear that there is space for a partner in her dance, if he will only follow.

Move with me! she thinks.

"Move with me!" she says.

[Otomo Saisei]

He wasn't expecting it to be now. He looks around and the Crab soldiers start to rub chins to look at them. Cursing inwardly a bit, he shakes his head and tries to move accordingly, and stumbles a bit here and there.

It does, of course, raise laughter out of the soldiers, yet nothing insolent.

He pauses and bows, "Forgive me, I am ruining Kakita-sama's art."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"It is not a ruin; we all learn by beginning, Otomo-san. And in continuing, we do all the better; stay with me."

And here's a revelation to study, she thinks as she shifts her dancing just a bit, beckoning people with her arms and hands and hips, her turns and certain steps, thinking to engender admiration and appreciation for her, mostly in Sasei, but also in those looking on.

As she dances, the Otomo initially resists her sway, but slowly her movements catch more of his eyes. Her voiced invitation to stay with her begins to take a strength of its and out of nowhere, his left foot beings tapping the floor to her rhythmic. Then, his hand starts to tap his waist and a ridiculously huge grin creeps up on him.

Hopefully, the majority of the Crab watching Yuuwaku had all the same stupid smile across their faces.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku smiles back at him. How can she not? It is not an uncharming thing, his smile, even if it is a bit goofy and prompted in ways she well knows.

"There you go, Otomo-san! You're getting it!" she says, encouragingly. "Now, come in closer; dance with me more."

I have things to say to you, she thinks, and a closer ear will hear them better.

Like a trained pet, the Otomo comes closes and begins dancing with her the best he could, this time.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Quietly, so that only he can hear her, Yuuwaku says "Otomo-san, you are a handsome man and clearly skilled. Have you considered how you might continue your line?"

He's sidestepped or missed so many more subtle hints, she thinks. Even so, being so direct...I'm glad we have this chance.

[Otomo Saisei]

Fuck the blush, he's dancing –– it is expected. The young man leans closer to small Crane at a second change, now that he's actually managing to get some steps right. "Kakita-sama pushes luck mentioning skills. Handsome, might be true. As is my consideration."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku continues the dance close in.

She also continues talking. "So, you've thought on it? Is there a direction that consideration lies?"

Her fan moves around him, passing from one hand to another.

[Otomo Saisei]

"It keeps changing direction," he mentions playfully as they dance, "yet, my thoughts are growing enormously towards pursuing."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Thoughts," huh? I bet they're not the only things growing, Yuuwaku thinks.

"I am fortunate to have many friends, Otomo-san." Yuuwaku says more amid their jointly fluid motions. "I could speak to them on your behalf, if you would like, help you fix your compass to point one way."

[Otomo Saisei]

He nods, taking some of the lead –– as she allows –– to move jointly. He mentions, "I would be grateful. My master said a Crane bride would potentially be the best fit, when time comes."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

The next motions take her behind him; Yuuwaku pivots deftly on one foot, twirling to place herself at his back, facing him.

She breathes into his ear, "That is easily enough arranged." Her fan cuts off his motion to the left, a silent suggestion to move the other way--as she moves thence and back again, her fan guiding him.

"The more so if he knows the Family he would honor in following his master's guidance."

[Otomo Saisei]

Quite a leap she had to take up his back for the whisper, considering the difference in height between. And yet, she manages to guide him exactly where her fan pointed to. He finds an opportunity to bring her closer in the spin, and whispers back, nearly touching cheek as he leans down, "My Ancestor's Family would be greatly honored."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku bends gracefully, taking a large--for her, at least--step backwards, pivoting again and repeating the earlier motions, this time on the other side. And when her mouth draws close to his ear again, she whispers "And from which Family comes your illustrious forebear?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He saddens a bit thinking about his direct family and what happened his other relatives, and stops dancing. He bows, saying, "I greatly appreciate our dance and the lesson Kakita-sama provided. Perhaps we can talk about the following topic in a shared meal, or tea?"

Even if naive sometimes, the boy is still an Otomo.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Shit.

Yuuwaku pulls back and returns the bow.

"A meal would be lovely, of course. Has Otomo-san a convenient time in the coming days? I will strive to make myself available to him."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Does Kakita-sama enjoy noodles?" He asks tilting hie head a bit with a silly smile on his face.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Often," Yuuwaku replies. "There is something...delightful in taking them between the lips and sucking them in. Sometimes messy, of course, but a person can clean."

[Otomo Saisei]

He smiled to that, but honor came in just in time to hold his thoughts to get deeper. He clears his throat, putting a hand in front of his lips and says, "There is a very nice noodle vendor at the docks. He works the evenings there. I would be honored if Kakita-sama would share a meal there with me."

He chuckles, "It is quite spicy, though."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"New flavors generally find favor with me," Yuuwaku replies.

"On which day should I expect to eat with you of an evening? [Day 4], perhaps later in the evening, or [Day 5]?"

[Otomo Saisei]

"Early in the evening would be the best moment. Not too many people walking by and potentially the last rays of Lady Sun to be watched from the docks." He mentions with a wink.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"So on [Day 5], then, in the early evening," Yuuwaku says to clarify and fix it in her head. "I shall look forward to it, although I hope I will see you before then, Otomo-san."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Agreed!" He confirms.
