[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku flushes slightly. It must be from the exercise. Yes, that.

"Otomo-san already has my esteem," she says. Her breath begins to grow labored with the effort; she exercises, yes, but different exercises than these.

[Otomo Saisei]

"I feel honored." He says, nodding once with a happy smile as they finally come to complete the square course of the training square. He keeps that silly face while looking at her, and then decides he should get a grip.

"Next. What does Kakita-sama suggest?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"There are some who might make some...interesting comments at that possibility, Otomo-san," Yuuwaku says, not entirely coyly. "But perhaps we might dance again? Or perhaps a simple arm exercise?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He looks around at the training Crab, and then back at her to say, with a smirk, "Did they see us dancing before?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"They did." She smiles. "I wonder if any of them remember."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Let's find out?" He suggests, assuming his stance.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Gladly," Yuuwaku replies, and her fan finds her hand again. The dance she leads him into, skillfully (41), is different than last time; the two move around one another's upraised hands, spiraling about a center-point between them in measured steps, tracing circles in the dirt of the training grounds.

And soon, oh, yes, soon...

[Otomo Saisei]

He actually manages to follow up with the pace. That is, being led, of course. He comments, "Kakita-sama dances are inpiring. I wonder why the Mantis didn't ask for her dances previously. They did an extra effort to match up after her presentation."

Her face darkens for just a moment before her pleasant on reasserts itself.

"I'll have to talk with their leader about that," she remarks without affect (19 to resist, so...).

"But your own dancing seems to be doing better," she continues as she sidesteps, her fan guiding him again. "I am pleased to see it."

He doesn't trail on the same subject, knowing that a single bite was good enough, for now. "Kakita-sama be praised for that. Or should I say Kakita-sensei?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku smiles.

"Flatterer. I am only mokoroku in my School; I would scarcely presume to any level of menkyo. All I can do is show the art and hope that some more adept will join me.

"And I am glad to have you join me."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Don't value yourself too short, Kakita-sama. To me, you're the most enchanting dancer I've ever seen."

Flatterer, perhaps. But it is true.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku pirouettes, opening distance.

"You've not seen many dancers, have you, then, Otomo-san? I am as nothing compared to some at the Academy and elsewhere."

She reverses the spin, returning closer to him.

"Or is it that Otomo-san has not had so close a view before?"

[Otomo Saisei]

"I confess I have not seen many dancers... such as you. And by far , there's nothing compared indeed."

As she spins back closer, he swallows dry at the question and reminds silent for a moment before gagging a bit, "H-hai."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

So that's it, then, Yuuwaku thinks.

What she says, however, as her steps take her close to his side, is "Everyone has to start somewhere, Otomo-san."

Her steps guide them apart, then bring them in again.

"And there are ways to set your steps aright."

[Otomo Saisei]

Noticing a potential breach coming soon like a battering ram, the young Otomo coughs a bit, and takes a polite step back. "Forgive this one's lack of experience. I... indeed need to set steps right from time to time."

He bows, sharp. Trying to take his mind into noodles. Yes, noodles was a very good thought.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku inclines her head to him.

"We all do, sometimes, Otomo-san. And while there is much one can do on one's own to that end," she says, "it is often useful to have a helping hand in such matters, to have a guide or a partner come along with you."

[Otomo Saisei]

He reminds their talk about noodles before, where she mentioned slurping, and decides it is not the thing he should focus. The helping hand comment, though, makes he really struggle to get a decent thought straight up in his mind

Saisei raises his head a bit, looking straight to her face, and swallows dry once again. Flirting around with double entendres was one thing, but reinforcing it over and over... things we're getting... well... too thick to handle.

"Kakita-sama. I apologize. I should depart. It was an honor beyond measure."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku looks somewhat sad as he says it, but she does not question his sincerity.

"I shall look forward to our dinner, then, Otomo-san," she says. "And to dancing with you again."

She bites her lower lip for just a moment before smiling. "I do so enjoy the pleasure of your company."

[Otomo Saisei]

He doesn't really manage to hold the blush, since he's focusing on something else, and a shy flat smile creeps in. He replies, before leaving, "I also enjoy Kakita-sama's company. Until next time."

With that, he kneels to get his kimono top to fold it into a bundle. Once done, he lifts himself up with the item held with both hands just a bit below his obi and makes his way back to the inn.

Yuuwaku gives a slight chuckle to herself as he leaves.

Inexperienced, but not dead, she reflects. I can work with that.
