"Complicated how?" Minari asked, the kiseru coming to a stop in her hand.

“Well, they already had one civil war and now their champion seems to have gone into seclusion and isn’t talking to anyone. So they might be about to have a second split. Or maybe she’s just really tired of people?”

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"That does seem like it's a problem." Shouji mused thoughtfully.

"If anythign though I imagine they won't have much to say about this either way, and might just be looking for potential allies."

[Moshi Minari]

"Well, I'll leave speaking with any Dragons we come across to the more... talky ones," she nodded to the three more courtly inclined members of the crew.

"Speaking of allies though... our ronin, Yoko, is still around here. I'm thinking of offering her something more tangible, to keep her on our good side. I think she'll be good to have, keep an eye on things. An extra sword in case shit hits the deck."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Not a bad idea." The Captain agreed with a nod. "We know her after all, well at least a little. So it makes her easier to work with then some wild card if things get to that." Not that he thought they would.

"Room and board on the ship should be a good place to start with her, you can figure out what else she might want when you talk to her."

[Yoritomo Koemi]

"Are we really that worried about not having enough swords on deck?" Koemi protested. "Just how bad could it be that the Crane and Crab couldn't support us also?"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"It's not exactly that Koemi." The Captain offered with a sigh. "Though I will ask if you know any of the crab here well enough to trust your back to them."

"Added to that, well we may not know Yoko-san that well. I do believe we know her motivations though. Add to that keeping her in our good graces does likely keep her tongue from wagging too. In case we have people here that don't look at us too Kindly and are lookign for ways to get under our skin."
