Wedding at Fire Shrimp Village an L5R PbP

On the road approaching the castle three figures travel, a man in Crab colors, wearing a bone white mempo, a young woman in grey with a pack, and a smaller figure. The child breaks from the others to run toward the guards on the castle gate, pausing to collect herself, and calls out to them "I am Hiruma Chisa, here for my cousins Wedding, would you like to see my papers?" She pulls out a scroll and holds it toward the guards.

The guard looks them over and then made sure to stamp them. He said to the Hiruma, "Looks in order, Hiruma-san."

She sketches a very formal bow as she retrieves her papers and waves behind her, "Thank You Hida-sama This is my on-to-rah-goo, do you know where we are supposed to go?"

"Report to Gunso Basho and he will get you sorted, go with the Strength of the Mountain," he said gesturing to a Crab drilling some troops in the courtyard.

Chisa bows again "Hai, thank you Hida Sama" and begins crossing the courtyard purposefully toward the Gunso, her two escorts, bow to the guards as well, before following.

Drills, this fresh crop straight out of the dojo needed drills to get ready for the duties that would be asked of them. Reinforce the basic tenets they learned and now mold them into something useful for the Lord of the Castle. So for now they drilled until they puked, the first step towards a better future.

At the approach of the entourage he said to the bushi, “Keep going till I get tired.”

She nods, "May I present Hiruma Roe-Jai, my father, and Ren, my maid?" She waves to the two following her. Roger and the servant both bow deeply to the Gunso.

He nodded and said, "Greetings, well you know where you need to be. Best of luck during your stay."
