The Crane may have not invited the Ronin for Drinks, that didn't mean the Captain wasn't thinking of them though. He'd found it a poor move poltically for the Crane not to invite them to their shindig, especially since the Yuahime had recently beem one. He wasn't going to call their decision into question though. Even if he did invite Yoko and Yue to the top deck of the ship for drinks and snacks.
A few Extra lanterns had been hung for extra light and there were a few bottles, cups, rice balls and other treats on a low table. It wasn't a fancy affair, but he didn't want to make a big deal of it either. No reason to insult the other clan by being nice to some of those who stayed on his ship.
