Whistles the Wind (Day 0 Late Evening.)

[Yoko]

With the wink received, she returned with a too-proud smirk. Looking to the Captain of the vessel she raised her now empty bottle, putting on airs a little in humor, "You humble me with your offer, Tsuruchi-sama. I wouldn't want to be the judge of how much should be poured, but if you're kind enough to offer this bottle should serve well enough," she said, raising it up a little before setting it down in front of herself.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

The Captain shook his head before picking up the offered bottle and pouting a decent amount into it from the one he had in hand. Not too much really, but the ronin now had several cups of the rot gut.

He noticed that Koemi wasn't drinking, but didn't make a big deal out of it. They might just need more then one sober face around this evening. Taking another sip from his glass he glanced between the others. "So who was up for dice again?"

[Yoko]

Yoko bowed her head in turn when he finished filling her drink. Taking it back into hand rather happily and settling it in her lap. With her other hand she gave a little wave to show her desire to participate with a unceremonious, "Yo."

[Yoritomo Katsu]

Katsu grunted. "I'd dice a little." It wasn't exactly an enthusiastic response, but it was there.

He accepted a single cup of the drink, tossing back a gulp with a grimace.

[Otomo Yusuke]

"Now this is what I come to expect from Mantis hospitality," Yusuke replied as he joined the dice game.

[Moshi Meiko]

"I'll dice!"
Meiko sticks up her hand before noticing everyone else was much cooler about the dicing and she slows lowers her arm
"Uh, I mean. 'Sure, if that's what we're doing.' "

[Moshi Minari]

"So," the dice and dice cup was ready. "What shall we play for? Money's good, as I'm sure Yoko-san would think, but I'm always partial to interesting bets myself. Last game, I got Last Mate here to take over a lot of my chores." The navigator grinned deviously.

[Yoritomo Koemi]

Koemi looked to the others, her disdain for gambling rather obvious in her eyes alone. At other times, she had cursed her own rotten luck or had said it to be nothing more than frivolous. And so, she leaned back, not speaking up on pitching in any bets.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

The Captain offered Koemi an easy smile, he might sit out of the gambling himself after all. "I'd say keep the money out of it." Shouji offered after a moment. It would allow the ronin to actually participate.

"Small bets, chores and the like that both parties agree to?" He looked the others over. "Who wants first go?"

[Yoko]

"Risk my life plenty, wouldn't see why a game of dice should be any different," she laughed a little, shaking her head and waving the thought off with a hand. "Chores sounds good though, I can always stay awhile longer and make use of myself, dice never liked me much," she shrugged and took up her bottle, taking a sip.

Glancing around before she overtook anyone's position, but she was ever ready to throw herself in first.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Yoko-san, and Meiko then?" Shouji offered after a moment. It'd possibly prove to be a fairly interesting change of duties. Though probably not the wiseest of either side. It would still be better then some of the other tasks up for trade.

"I'd have to put something up aside from duties if I planned to join in." The Captain continued as he glanced between the two. "Though I'm sure something could be figured out."

[Moshi Meiko]

"Okay! I'll wager...one...uh, one day of cultural attaché duties!"
Meiko glances around, seeing if she was getting this right

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"You probably want to start off with somethign small." Shouji offered with a chuckle. "I mean Yoko-san can't do two full days of work in one day after all." The Captain caused a moment thoughtfully.

"Could always wager laundry duty? I mean we'll likely be able to get clothes good and clean when we get to shore."

[Yoko]

Covering her mouth with her palm she calmed the laugh somewhat, "Might also want to consider how you definitely don't want me doing.." she awkwardly quirked her right brow, waving the hand she covered her mouth with, "whatever those duties are. Laundry duty though," she glanced to Shouji, "that sounds just right for a good trade off, eh?" she gave another one of her smirks, and then a nod, before looking back to Meiko.

[Moshi Meiko]

"Oh it's really simple Yoko-san, you just need to be friendly and do everything you're told. But laundry duties sounds okay. I hate laundry duty, so watch out, I don't intend to lose!"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Seems like you've set the terms then." Shouji offered with a grin before brining his cup up to his lips for a sip. "I guess each of you can roll once and the winner is the one with the highest combination?"

He glanced towards the others. "Anyone up for a side bet?" The Captain asked. "Maybe on which of them rolls the winning combination?"

[Otomo Yusuke]

"I'm game, Captain," the Otomo responded.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Anything particular in mind, Otomo-sama?" The young man asked with a raised eyebrow. "For the wager that is."

[Yoko]

"Alright!" Yoko said with a little wild to her smirk, born of the mirth. With a firm nod she looked between everyone. "I'm ready when everyone else is," she added, grabbing her bottle for the moment and taking a drink. Setting it back down to her side she started getting ready.

[Otomo Yusuke]

"Let's make it fun, if I win you clean the deck and if you win I clean the deck," he offered to the Captain.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"That sounds like a bet, Otomo-sama." Shouji replied with a chuckle. If the oolder man was up for cleaning the deck he really couldn't say he wasn't after all. Turning towards the Women he offered a smile. "I'll pick Meiko as the winner then, she seems to be a bit of a lucky one."

"That fine by you, Otomo-sama?"

[Otomo Yusuke]

"Yoko, looks lucky tonight," he responded.

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"Alright then." With everything settled Shouji turned to the ladies.

"Whenever you're ready then?" He offered with a gesture towards them. Yoko did seem rather excited about the prospects.

[Yoko]

"I'll cede first roll to you then, Moshi-sama," she said, giving an upturned palm wave outward with her hand. Shifting forward a little with a daring smirk. "I wish you luck on your roll," she said with a quick nod.

[Moshi Meiko]

Her tongue sticking out slightly as she concentrates, Meiko scoops up the dice, shakes them furiously in her hands and then casts the dice onto the deck.
