In addition to social position Status confers a a flat +2 bonus, per rank of status above Status 1.0, to all High Skill social skills when used with fellow samurai. This bonus does not apply to Low skills even if the School allows them to use the Low skill without penalty. This can apply to Sincerity (Deceit) or Temptation but this is considered Blasphemous breach of Etiquette for using their divinely ordained position in such a low manner.
