Kuma had preen his feathers and prepped himself for the show. Hanatsuko chuckled at the bird that thought that he was going to impress a lady with his moves. She had left little Tora in the Inn hopefully no one will eat him because they would feel the wrath of the Toritaka.

Masao, having been told to expect guests by Yuuwaku, happily greeted Falcon and falcon and showed them to what had been called a garden, but not seriously so by any self-respecting Crane.

"Good afternoon, Toritaka-san. Kuma-san, you're looking regal today."

Yuuwaku herself, having arranged the event, welcomes Hanatsuko warmly but steps aside to "limber up" as she and Masao exchange their own greetings.

"Kuma seems your public is arriving." He came forth and gave bow to Yuuwaku and to Masao. "I don't know what he has in mind but Kuma is not really that good of a dancer that one might think." She looked at Masao. "Kakita sama will you aid this one with this." She took out her flute.

"Oh, of course. For my friend Kuma-san," he says with a smile. He readies his flute. "I will follow you, Toritaka-san."

This should be interesting thinks Yuuwaku as the flutes start to come out.

She stretches a bit more.

Hanatsuko smiled. She looked at Kuma and nodded. "Are you ready Kuma kun?"
The bird thrilled.
Hana started playing looping the notes.

Masao follows, giving the bright tune a robust sound.

Really, grandson? This is how you're spending your time?Spending time supporting our friends' efforts is part of being a good ally. I think my grandmother may have said that.

Kuma started to bob his head then skip around to the rhythm. Hanatsuko wanted to chuckle but the flute playing kept her from it. He wasn't that bad for a bird.

Yuuwaku watches the bird dance for a while, focusing intently on his motions.

I think I can compliment it, she thinks, and urge these two further into love, and she puts herself to the task of doing so.

It is spectacularly effective, quite possibly the best dancing Yuuwaku has done in her life to this point. It seems every fiber of her being is bent on showing and reflecting love, of fostering it where she is, and it would be a hard and stony heart, indeed, that failed to be moved by it.

(OOC: You may roll Etiquette (Courtesy) / Willpower against TN 76 to not feel the amorousness Yuuwaku is producing.)

The Crane flutist appreciates Kuma's moves, although Yuuwaku's mastery of dance is impossible to compete with. The impact is... hard not to feel, even if Masao would have thought to try resisting.

So even though he's trying to play his flute, and watch a dancing bird that seems pretty human, and a dancing human that seems pretty supernatural, Masao's eyes are really only seeing the keeper of his heart.

Hana looked at Kuma dancing and Yuuwaku following his steps masterfully. The dance swayed Hana to look at the male Kakita and she couldn't keep her eyes off the him. She followed his moves and she continued to play her flute.

Yuuwaku sees the infatuation breaking over the two--even more than had been the case.

I wonder if I can get the falcon to come away with me, leave the two together alone, she thinks.

And she keeps dancing.

Yuuwaku would note that Kuma has his eyes fixated on her. He would follow her moves. Kuma moved closer to Yuuwaku, his wings majestically spread. He bowed and continued to skip around the female Kakita.

Ah, a partnering dance? she thinks, and the hand not holding her fan reaches out and up, offering her arm as a perch. I can open space for a partner.

The soldier has mostly lost sight of the dancers, having turned to just watch Hanatsuko as they keep playing. He's starting to tire, but he said he'd follow her so he's not stopping.

Hanatsuko was already tired and had started to sweat. She noted the tired Kakita and stopped playing.

Kuma perched on Yuuwaku's arm and kept swaying from side to side.

Well, this is interesting, Yuuwaku thinks, and after a moment to adjust to the weight on her arm, she continues to dance. It must be noted that she shows Kuma off to good effect, indeed.

Smiling brightly but still clearly relieved by the break, Masao catches his breath while giving fond looks to Hanatsuko and impressed looks to Crane and falcon.

Even the greatest birds are strongest in the right flock, grandson. Hai, grandmother, I remember.

Hana smiled brightly at Yuuwaku as Kuma was having the time of his life. She looked at Masao. "Let's take a break." She took a seat but her eyes were kept on Masao.

Yuuwaku sees the other two reach a stopping point, and she moves her own dancing with the falcon off some distance. If they are clever with their fans, they can speak unheard by others, and Yuuwaku is clearly too consumed with her performance and the bird's to notice if they do a number of other things.

Kuma noted the Crane and the Falcon look exchange. He opened his wings to cover Yuuwaku's view. Then his head went down to point at Yuuwaku's obi, fixated on her fan. Hana has no fan of her own to cover her emotions and faux pas.
You want to help these two, loan Hana your fan. She doesn't have one. I think she told you that... wait it was to Masao san...

The bird just chattered.

Yuuwaku notes the bird's fixation on her fan.

"What, you like this?" she says, twirling to turn her back to Hanatsuko and Masao. She flourishes the fan before the chattering bird. "I happen to think it pretty, myself, and such an aid to dancing."

And her steps and motions do guide the fan across her face, obscuring vision.

Masao, somewhat caught up in the moment, steps close to Hanatsuko, though not improperly so, and says "Your flute play is excellent as always." There is maybe a touch of red to his face from their committed play, but what was there is already fading.

The bird nodded but kept his wings open to obscure the back view.
Thank the kami that you are such beautiful friend to these two. Maybe you don't understand me but you know what those two needed. The chatter did continue quieter sort of like a whisper.

Hanatsuko smiled blushing as heat of the moment subsided. "You were also great, Kakita san." She started to reach for his hand slowly trying to be discrete. He had flaunted his feather and she knew his feelings for her.
