“She has regaled me with quite the story of ghosts and honorable samurai. I daresay perhaps she will be quite the spinner of tales,” she said proudly.
“Now if only she would attend her calligraphy with such fervor.”

“I dare say they have not,” she responded raising her fan.
“Though I try to keep myself separated from idle talk and gossip. You say this tale is true?”

Hanatsuko smiled. "Young lady Daidoji is quite the brave soul to have helped us in this quite amazing journey." She looked at Kio and nodded. "I hope you know that the ghost will not come back for a while. I will make sure that they are gone for now. They might come back." She looked at Yushuko. "Her story might sound farfetched but it is quite true. And the spirits are at rest now."

"Who knows Daidoji sama. Spirits sometimes are awoken by the stir of emotions. Others may be because their environment was disturbed." She took a breath. "Sometimes they are lost other times they are angry. Many are confused and frustrated that it also turns to anger thus cursing those who have disturbed their peace."

"Kakita Konohamaru dono can attest this and Kuni Junza will log the event... There also was a few others besides this one." She sighed. "I just wanted Young lady Daidoji to have a token to help her. My youngest brother is about her age. He probably would have done the same."

"Daidoji sama, I know you have taught young lady Daidoji about the virtue of honesty and sincerity." She nodded. "And young lady Daidoji will be a very formidable samurai, be it bushi, courtier or artisan. Unless the elemental spirits call to her."
