[Day 8 - LM] The Woman in Black

She rode into town on a black horse, her clothes were dusty from the road. She had dark eyes that were alert and she wore something approaching a smile but was devoid of mirth. It was more a knowing gaze that darkness linger sin the heart of every person.
For now she quietly sipped her tea, though not before sniffing it as if testing the aroma.

"Good morning samurai-sama. Has Inari-kami been kind?" The Otomo greets the newcomer with a welcome flat smile. She surely wasn't in the guest list... or was she?

She looked like she just arrived from the road, there was still dust on her cloak and wide brim hat. She responded and said, “Good morning.”
“I have not had rice, but the innkeeper will see to that,” she said quietly.

"The Crab are good hosts indeed. If you can, try their noodles at the dock." He bows, presenting himself, "This one is Otomo Saisei, assistant to the nakodo supervising the wedding."

Outside he hears the sound of a horse and then someone riding off.

The Otomo looks to the poor innkeeper preparing her meal and runs off to fetch her back... or check where she was going, at least, if he couldn't outrun the horse.

The dust shows she is taking a route towards the castle, or it seemed like towards the castle.

The young Otomo makes back to the Inn to get some onigiri shoved into his bag and then runs to the castle!
It is not a good thing to be hangry in a day like today.
