"No, I only noticed him in passing. However, I do have a way of making friends in unexpected places in unexpected ways." Ren leans forward, resting his chin on his hand. "I will keep an eye for backup plans though. No sense in placing all hope on that outcome"

"Him..." she let out a breath and relaxed.

"Well as little help as I could be, you have my assistance all the same. It may be wise to speak with the Scorpion as well, given their closeness to the Imperial Families," she added.

"Hmmpph. I do know one of them, and I think more might be...interesting. Dangerous, but...interesting." Ren nods, mostly to himself. "I am glad that I brought you in. You're...good at this."

Ren leans in, and for a moment it looks as if he would have more to say but he leans back and nods.

"Not at the moment. I will look for opportunities today, and I would like you with me tomorrow night, but if you feel as if I would be helpful in keep trouble away from you, please let me know and I will join you."
