[D7 LA] Peacekeeping (Open/Expecting)

[Yoko]

"Sure she's just being safe somewhere, eh? Ghosts.. people walking off to their deaths," she shook her head, "at least, trying to. All a bit much for even me, honest," she said, turning from her seat and standing. Glancing back to Sanaharu to give a quick smirk, show she wasn't going to far, and then stepped up to the mural.

Speaking over her shoulder, "You know, I was here when it was finished, eh?" she looked back, shrugged. "Shame it didn't stay that way."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Oh, so she did finish it. Such a shame it did not stay that way... I'm glad we could break the curse." He replies. This one was friendly and had somewhat a sense of justice. Seemed to dislike people who were cruel to others and who used others. Even ronin need a trace of morality to grasp. "You seem to have some enjoyment for art, or is such the grasp of good art to draw even the usually uninterested?"

[Yoko]

"Uh- that last one, I'd say," she chuckled, shook her head. "Well- guess what matters to say is that it's not that I don't like art, eh? Just.. I like it an average amount? Not so much that I'd talk about it the way I hear artisans and courtiers do sometimes but," she gave a little nod toward the mural. "I can appreciate something beautiful when I look at it."

"Just don't try to go asking me what I like about it eh?" she chuckled, "Not gonna have a good answer for you."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

Oh, you could at least try to be courteous.
Be not so judgemental, she is trying.
You know what Yuuwaku said the other day.

"It would be strange for me not to speak of art when I live in art, indeed. Did you like yesterday's play, Yoko-san?"

[Yoko]

"Thought it was interesting enough," she shrugged. Turning back toward him she came back over and sat once more. "Think I saw something like that when I was younger," she rocked her head a little. "Well, not exactly like that, eh? But my mother used to bring me to places that gave performances like that. Suggested I needed the culture," she shook her head.

"I was pretty small though. Was more interested in getting away and visiting my little friend, a cat down by the river where I was raised," she said with a small smile.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"You talk a lot about your mother. You know, by your descriptions, I like her. There was not a lot of theatre near Asahina Shinden. The first one I can remember of was when I was a child, before the Academy, before the war, age seven or five. It was part of a marriage celebration my family got invited to."

[Yoko]

Yoko glanced away a moment, looking pensive, but let the thought go. Looking back, she gave a little nod, "Well, sounds- pleasant, eh?"

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"It is fortunate I was sent to the school I attended, because I had a taste for art since then. More of the watching taste than the doing taste, though."

[Yoko]

"Strange way to phrase it," she chuckled-losing the humor of it half way through, shaking her head as she glanced away.
