[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"I grew up with stories of it, so I was looking forward to seeing the Sea for a long time." He paused a moment. "It might be nice to see my family more, I have younger siblings that hardly know me I imagine.

"But we can't have everything we might want, can we?"

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Alas, no," Yuuwaku agrees. "But that makes what we get all the dearer, I think."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"It does." He agreed with an easy smile and a nod.

"I do wonder though, we touched a bit on what would catch me. What is it that a opposite could do to tame you?" Hecraised an eyebrow. "Or what would you want in one that tried, if that's not too much to ask."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku shrugs. "It's a fair question, certainly. But for a tamer..."

She lapses into thought for a time.

"A partner in my art, or a patron. And, as you noted for you, one concerned with family, both in increasing it and elevating it."

Her mouth sets in a flat line. "Not all are particularly adept at either, as it happens, though many flatter themselves that they are so--or flaunt their unconcern for it."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

He could be a patron though he was no partner. "I see in some ways we agree." Shouji replied after a moment. Fairly certain her ire wasn't directed his way.

"Or are at least looking for something similar."

He dipped into a short bow. "Thank you."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"For what, Tsuruchi-sama?"

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"For sharing with me, and perhaps a little bit of understanding." He replied with a soft smile.

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

Yuuwaku bows.

"I am pleased to help, then," she replies, "and I look forward to more and better understanding."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

He nodded. "Perhaps thats best sought on another day, though."

"I should leave you to your prayers."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

"Or I to yours," Yuuwaku notes, "since I had come mostly to investigate the sculptures."

[Tsuruchi Shouji]

"I shall leave you to that then." Shouji replied with a smile and bow. "Until next time Kakita-san."

[Kakita Yuuwaku]

She bows.

"May it not be long."
