[Otomo Saisei]

"Kakita-sama is definitely a joy." The haunting ancestor looking over their conversation pays special attention to the young Otomo as other thoughts haunt his mind.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He nods. "I need to bring the tray to the offerings section of the temple, this is ought not to take long. Would it bother Otomo-sama to wait for my return, if that is his wish?"

[Otomo Saisei]

"If Asahina-san so wishes, I could help him get it there. I mean, not sure if is heavy. Else, of course I wouldn't mind."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Those are just ashes, Otomo-sama. Please do not occupy yourself with them." He replies with a heavy bow, taking the trash on both hands.

[Otomo Saisei]

He nods and takes a moment to contemplate the sound of the ocean nearby as he closes his eyes to the surrounding statues.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

He returns to the temple and explains to the local monks the Fortune he was praying to, why, what was the offering and more before returning with a deep bow.

"Thanks for your patience, Otomo-sama."

[Otomo Saisei]

He opens his eyes and looks to Sanaharu, "Ah, no need to thank me. I had a good moment alone."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"And I thought my presence would be better welcomed." His face stays neutral. "Worry not, I jest."

[Otomo Saisei]

He narrows his eyes, still no accustomed to that sort of joke, "I... well. What you say doesn't really match how you look."

The Otomo smirks, "I guess I am too much of an Imperial to be so cool."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"Thank you, Otomo-sama." He replies with a slight bow. Of course, not to display emotion was a great thing for a samurai.

[Otomo Saisei]

"So, how have these past days been treating? I've been at the Blue Bird House plenty of times, but I haven't had the chance to meet Asahina-san after the boat trip."

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"I remember that we met on Bronze Castle one day, Otomo-sama... Those days are the first I have been outside the Crane for a long time. They bring me a thousand surprises."

[Otomo Saisei]

"Hah!" The Otomo facepalms and then nods, "Indeed. We did. We talked about parasols and the various names. I apologize for my lapse. The haunting issue got me, well, taken away and now recent events have brought me back. I haven't been entirely myself."

He provides a bow, as he asks for the pardon.

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"About the haunting issue... I asked Toritaka-san about what happened that night, and she told me the story. Are you well, Otomo-sama? I saw that many went to your side on the reunion of the Miya..."

[Otomo Saisei]

“I am better today, hai. Sometimes the air is not enough, but it will heal soon.” He smiles, adding, “Aji-san, the shrine’s caretaker, was also very thoughtful of me. Thank you for the concern.” There’s another bow. A grateful one.

After a moment, he asks, “How are the parasols coming?”

[Asahina Sanaharu]

"I got one with me, but yet had not the chance to paint it over. I plan on doing it tomorrow... My hands are too heavy for art today. Some days you just need to accept that you didn't wake up at your best." He replies.

"I'm glad Otomo-sama is caring well. You were truly a hero by what Toritaka-san told me."

[Otomo Saisei]

He shakes his head negatively, “I fumbled up the ritual words Kuni-sama instructed me. I am really bad at chanting, singing included. I forget the important parts. So I, well, made up words. It just happened that some really nasty looking spirits liked what I said — or didn’t say — and the only way I found to revert it was, well, to command them in the name of Heavens, as I’ve been training my whole life to do.”

He grins like an idiot. “It worked out. I guess I am good at shouting, at least.”
