"I know how gifts work, Saisei-san," he said dryly.

"I am not a child."

[Otomo Saisei]

Saisei laughs at that and gives a bow. "Fair enough. I apologize. The intention was to make sure the basics are covered, and understand where I could help out. Yoji-san is well equipped, already. I am a disaster in origami, or any other art for the matter."

He takes a moment to look up to the skies, and, "Atchooooooo!" Another sneeze.

[Hida Yoji]

"Indeed, well trust that I know the basics, we Crab are not barbarous just not mired in useless conventions," he said gruffly as he tossed a stick for his dog to chase.

[Otomo Saisei]

"That is actually a very good phrase every courtier should have in mind. Thank you for the lesson, Yoji-san." He says, rubbing his chin.

[Hida Yoji]

"As you say," he said as the dog brought the stick.

"Is that what you do, you're a courtier?"

[Otomo Saisei]

He sighs, "In a way, yes. I have attended the Otomo Seiyaku dojo. We are considered courtiers."


Saisei looks to the corner of the room, where only he sees a blurred presence shaking its head in displeasure, then gets his eyes back to the Crab, "Despite, well, my... physical predisposition point otherwise."

[Hida Yoji]

"Shame, you look like a solid fighter," he said to the man.

[Otomo Saisei]

He narrows his eyes at the Crab again and chuckles. Then, he proposes, "If Yoji-san is willing to embrace some of the ways of the court, I'll do my best to learn the ways of the battle. What does Yoji-san say?"

[Hida Yoji]

"I don't run from a challenge," was his reply.

[Otomo Saisei]

"Deal." He smirks.
